Chisels and Brushes: Sculpting and Refining Portrait Lighting
with Dr. Glenn Rand

Artists have always used tools to craft the image of people. In photography today we have the ability to use lighting tools to create our portraits. Whether we are looking at the way Michelangelo used chisels to create the David or how he used his brushes to paint the Sistine Chapel, these were the tools that allowed him to produce his art. Today we have lighting tools that enable us to sculpt the features in a portrait or to carefully and delicately accent a highlight that will bring our portraits alive. This workshop will present how the tools work and how to utilize them to create your "Masterpieces."
