This one day seminar is designed to enhance your visionary skills, as well as your technical execution. Special emphasis is placed on creating images with Visual Impact. Increase your proficiency while using creative techniques, compositional elements and light to design in-camera images that are a cut above. Charles will share the techniques that have garnered him over 40 state, national, and international awards. Expand your photographic horizons. learn to .. "Shoot the Light"


In this one day seminar you will learn:

Metering Simplified - Chas will provide you with the tools necessary to control and achieve consistent exposure regardless of the subject and background tonality.

Flash - When, why, how, to use Manual and TTL flash. Chas will provide you with the tools and understanding necessary to control and achieve consistent flash exposure.

Visual Design - Preparedness and being Pro-active is the key to producing consistently successful imagery. Increase your proficiency while using creative techniques, compositional elements and light to design in-camera images that are a cut above.

Post Production PS CS4/5 & LR 2/3 techniques - We will provide you with the tools necessary to correct your RAW image to its fullest potential. Chas and co-instructor Dave Kelly (ACE) will walk you slowly and completely through their workflow process, showing you all the tips and techniques they use from the point of capture to web posting and printing.

Prerequisites:
Basic to Advanced working knowledge of DSLR and exposure fundamentals.
Equipment: It is not necessary to bring camera equipment to class, however, if you have a DSLR, mid focal length lens or zoom, and flash it will prove beneficial.
