David Miles Sullivan



David Sullivan, better known as “Sully”, is a professional photographer and photo assistant who splits time between Charleston, SC and New York City. At 6’7” Sully is also the tallest human light stand in the photo world.  Photography is his life, and he strives to share it with the world.  Sully will speak about what it is like to be an assistant in the professional photography world, the expectations, a typical day, and will give you some tips the do’s and don’ts of the field.   He will also

give you a peak into his creative process, how he keeps his ideas fresh, and his post-production.
Sully has lived all over the United States and credits his creative family for leading him into the wonderful world of photography.  Having assisted some of the world’s greatest photographers, Sully has seen some amazing things in the photography industry, which he never thought possible!  Now, he can share these experiences with you….
