The Future for Budding Photographers

With the spirit of ringing in a new year, CCforP has invited the Art Institute of Charleston photography student, Shannon Di, to talk about the future of the photography industry from a college student’s perspective.
During her lecture, Shannon will discuss what is currently being taught in the college photography departments. She will cover different equipment, software and photography techniques, which are needed to launch a budding career. She will discuss the importance of a working portfolio and what students face upon graduation.
Given the state of the economy and the changing climate of the photography industry, this is sure to be a very riveting topic.
