Amelia Phillips Hale and Dan Hale will be hosting the Members Only Portfolio Review on May 18, 2010 at 6 p.m. 

Amelia and Dan met in a mud puddle at the bottom of a slip-n-slide.  Since then, they have driven across the country in a hatchback without air conditioning, camped out in gale force winds, been licked by hundreds of dogs, and smoked cigars at Al Capone’s hideout.  Most recently, they opened their own photography business, Dreamland Images Inc., in Charleston, SC.  Amelia and Dan's work has been recognized by Pictures Of The Year International, NPPA's Best of Photojournalism competition, Wedding Photojournalist Association, Artistic Guild of the WPJA, Eddie Adams Workshop, Editor and Publisher Magazine, and the Southern Short Course in News Photography.  Amelia was 2007 NPPA Region 7 Photographer of the Year Runner-Up and 2007 Arkansas Photographer of the Year, with Dan at a close second as 2007 Arkansas Photographer of the Year Runner-Up.  They are enjoying life on the coast again and living in Park Circle with their two crazy adorable dogs.

Members will have the opportunity to show up to 10 images for discussion. The images can either be printed or projected. The critiques will provide an open forum in an informal setting, where members should feel free to give and receive constructive criticism.

No late registration will be accepted.
