The Charleston Center for Photography
Presents Stacy Pearsall's "Majestic Morocco"

Opening Exhibition | September 23 | 6 p.m. - 9 p.m
Lecture at 7:30 p.m.

Stacy Pearsall traveled through the African country of Morocco. During her trek, she documented the indigenous Berbers of the Sahara Desert, the tanneries of Marrakech and the mosques of Casablanca. During Stacy's exhibition, you will see the country's local color and unique characters. Please join the Center for Photography in celebrating Morocco's beautiful features and Stacy's vision.

At 7:30 p.m., Stacy will give a presentation about her trip to Morocco and share some of her behind-the-scenes stories. She will also talk about how she captured the images and answer questions from the audience.

Immediately following her lecture, Mark Suban of Nikon Professional Services (NPS) will give a lecture about various Nikon photographic equipment and field questions. He will also be available for the duration of the "Majestic Morocco" exhibition launch on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010, from 6 to 9 p.m. to answer any questions pertaining to Nikon camera bodies, lenses and lighting gear. He will have newly released Nikon equipment for CCforP patrons to see and touch.

Based in the Washington, D.C. area, Mark is a full-time professional photographer working for NPS. He heavily supports other pro photographers with equipment, services and training needs. Along with other NPS reps, Mark provides support for news events, photo workshops, seminars and trade shows.
