Photo Essays | 6 weeks

Students will learn how create a set or series of photographs that are intended to tell a story or evoke a series of emotions in the viewer. The instructor will teach students how to make their photo essays sequential with a clear story line. Students will learn that all photo essays are collections of photographs, but not all collections of photographs are photo essays. Photo essay assignments will be given and critiqued each week. By the end, students will have captured characters of places and events.
