Create a Photo Book | 6 weeks

This six-week course will guide students through the unique step-by-step process of digital book making using Blurb’s Booksmart program(www.blurb.com).  During the six weeks, students will become familiar with Booksmart, upload their own photos, and design their own book layout.  Students will work on the book layout during class.  This class is ideal for anyone who would like to create a scrapbook, memory book, fine art book or portfolio.  I have used this program several times to create digital scrapbooks, wedding memory books, and business promo books, and have been very pleased! 

A few things of note:

-Students will be responsible for ordering and paying for their book via Blurb at the end of the class.  Prices of books range from $20-$200 and upward.

-Students should have 50-300 images per book, or be prepared to create multiple books over the six weeks. 

-Students must have images ready by the start of the class.  Students will not be creating the images for the book in the class. 

-Students may bring their own laptop, or use the PC’s provided by CCforP.
