Photography Lighting | 6 weeks


This course will cover how to use and produce light to create the images with style.  We will work on manipulating available light to achieve your desired look, and how to work with strobes and produce various lighting styles.  You will learn basic lighting setups and how to operate lighting equipment, reflectors, and diffusers.  This class will take place both in the studio and on location.  Upon completion of the course you should have a better understanding the quality of light, lighting patterns, and how to use light to enhance your images.

Prerequisite: Introduction to digital photography or equivalent
Who Should Attend: Level Two
Equipment: Digital SLR or film camera with flash hot shoe. If you are using a film camera, be prepared to provide digital files of your film negatives. No point-and-shoot cameras please.
