Digital Black and White | 6 weeks

With a resurgence of interest in black and white photography, we have added a new course this term. Even better, it is a digital black and white class, which will apply the old film concepts to the new digital age. During the course of this class, students will improve upon their metering skills and learn the zone-system as it applies to the digital camera. More importantly, however, they will be challenged to make dramatic black and white images they can ultimately hang on their wall as art.
