Wedding Photography Certification

- When a client is searching for the right photographer to shoot their wedding, they will take into consideration the photographer's credentials, experience, awards and certifications. Many people believe that simply having the right camera will make them marketable. Not true. A good education in the craft and industry is a must in order to be successful. CCforP has developed a course track specifically designed for photographers who want to start a successful wedding photography business.

**** ALL STUDENTS MUST ASSIST/SHADOW ON AT LEAST ONE WEDDING BEFORE THE COMPLETION OF THE FIFTH TERM.  Students are responsible for finding a photographer to shadow.


To obtain a CCforP certification, students must complete the above core classes and workshops. After completing the required curriculum, students will be asked to submit their digital portfolios for review by a panel of CCforP staff. Additionally, students must have assisted or acted as a second shooter at two separate wedding events. Two letters of recommendation by the primary wedding photographers will be required along with the digital portfolio submission. the final portfolio must be displayed online through a BLOG created by the student and the BLOG will be up for review as well.
