Photojournalism Certification
- Photojournalism combines image making with story telling and allows a photographer to convey a message or point. If you are considering news photography as a career, most editors will not hire you without some form of education or experience. CCforP has created an education track specifically for photographers who are interested in freelancing for new agencies, newspapers, online news site or magazines. Students will be required to complete one 8 to 10 image photo essay on a current news event of their choosing. Along with their photo stories and portfolio, students must also create a 60 second multi-media piece, which will also be reviewed at panel.
