Commercial Photography Certification

- On any given day, commercial photographers are expected to shoot anything from products for a catalog to skirts for a magazine. Therefore, it's important for a commercial photographer to be well versed in many disciplines of photography as well as the business aspect. For that purpose, CCforP has developed a certification track that will ensure photographic versatility

Term One: 

Introduction to Digital Photography
Introduction to Photoshop CS3
TEST TO ADVANCE!


Term Two:

Intermediate Digital Photography
Intermediate Photoshop CS3
TEST TO ADVANCE!


Term Three:
Studio 101/Introduction To Studio Photography
Website Creation/Design


Term Four:
Portraiture(Course must include location, studio and natural light)
Product Photography


Term Five:
Stock Photography
Assistantship


Term Six:
Exit Portfolio
Final Review



To obtain a CCforP certification, students must complete the above core classes and workshops. After completing the required curriculum, students will be asked to submit their digital portfolios for review by a panel of CCforP staff. Additionally, the final portfolio must be displayed online through a BLOG created by the student and the BLOG will be up for review as well.

Student will be required to act as assistants on at least two commercial photography assignments. Two letters of recommendation by the primary commercial photographer will be submitted with digital portfolio.
